One of the developers of Battlefield 1943 has posted some more in depth information on their blog. We have read the entry and have it summarized for you below.

The rifle grenades will have roughly 2-3 shots in each “bundle”, which are able to be fired one at a time at a quick pace. However there will be a timer to wait for a new “bundle” of ammo to be available.

Infantry and Riflemen will have grenades Scouts will have expack.

Each class has a unique melee weapon and work well under different combat sistuations: Infantry will have a Wrench and are the close combat soldiers who can run in and get strait into the action.

  • Infantry are also able to use the wrench for repairs and have an AT rifle that is perfect for use agaisnt vehicles.
  • Riflemen will have Bayonets on their semi-automatic M1 Garands and are suited for mid ranged combat.
  • Japanese Scout will have a katana Sword, and both sides scouts will also have pistols and expacks (for blowing things up).
