Battlefield 1943 – Some Release details

Gordon Van Dyke has released some hints as to the release of Battlefield 1943, recently at New York’s comic convention.

Firstly we know that it will be available for download on Xbox Live Arcade and the Playstation Network, although a definitive price for BF 1943 has not been given.

It was also stated that the price would be around that of other premium titles on both networks, which can range anywhere from $15 to $20.

It was stated that there would be only a virtual release for the Xbox and Playstation versions of Battlefield 1943, although they were undecided on a boxed version for PC.

The size of the game, again is not confirmed although it is estimated to be around 350mb, which considering the scope of the game is excellent. There is also no confirmed release date, although it should come out around summer time (US).
